Bill and the Belles

Summer is in full blaze, and Bill and the Belles are keeping busy! We've had some incredible experiences lately including the following:

• Another successful Farm and Fun Time radio show with Missy Raines and Danny Paisley! They knocked our socks off, and we're starting to get the hang of this jingle writing thing. Did anyone catch our "gravy" song? Keep in mind Farm and Fun Time will be happening the 2nd Thursday of each month, and if you can't join the studio audience, tune in to WBCM Radio Bristol online or through their app. With three different channels to choose from and an awesome selection of live shows, you should really just be listening to Radio Bristol all the time. 
• A beautiful weekend in Arkansas at the Ozark Folk Center! It felt like vacation, and that auditorium is going on our list of favorite spaces we've played in. Also we hung out with the biggest catfish we ever did see. Arkansas, we'll for sure be back. 
• Shared the stage with Carlene Carter at the Gray Eagle! We love the folks at the Gray Eagle, and what a huge honor to open for Carlene Carter! 
• Shared the stage with John McEuen on WoodSongs Old Time Radio Hour! This trip to Lexington started off a bit surreal: when we rolled into our hotel in the middle of the night, we discovered it was connected to an awesome museum full of dazzling (literally) 21st century art. A few hours later we watched ourselves on the teevee, and met the legendary John McEuen and the surreality continued. WoodSongs was so good to us, and we can't wait to come back!

We've got some BIG NEWS for you! Not only did we get selected to be an IBMA official showcase artist, but we were also picked to be a showcase band at AmericanaFest hosted by the Americana Music Association. See you in Raleigh and Nashville! September is shaping up to be an awesome month between these conferences and one of our favorite regional festivals, Bristol Rhythm and Roots Reunion. We've got something extra special in the works for Rhythm and Roots this year. Stay tuned for details!
