Farm and Fun Time

What is Farm and Fun Time? It's an incredible live monthly radio program on Radio Bristol broadcasting from the Birthplace of Country Music Museum!

Farm and Fun Time is produced and hosted by our very own Kris Truelsen with Bill and the Belles supplying musical breaks, jingles, and songs. The program features various segments highlighting Appalachian culture like the Appalachian Sustainable Development Farm Report, the Heirloom Recipe Segment, and more! There are always world class country, bluegrass, and old-time artists featured on each program. Farm and Fun Time is truly a celebration of what live radio once represented and still can!

In the 1940s and the 1950s, Farm & Fun Time was an important program in our region which helped to establish the careers of legendary performers including Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs, the Stanley Brothers, the Osborne Brothers, Mac Wiseman, The Blue Sky Boys and many more. Bill and the Belles are incredibly proud to be the house band and a part of reviving radio history. Farm and Fun Time broadcasts live from the Birthplace of Country Music Museum every second Thursday of the month. We hope to see you at the next one!
